WELCOME TO YOUR FREE EXTRA SAVINGS PROGRAM (ESP)

This program is free to members of SilverScript Insurance Company's Prescription Drug Plans. With this program, you can receive discounts on your pharmacy, vision, and healthcare purchases when you show your membership card to a participating provider.

The ESP Program generally cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount program or insurance and should only be used on drugs which are not otherwise covered by Medicare Part D. With this program you will save between 5% and 60% on products for vision, dental, hearing and other needs. New in 2008, a 20% discount on CVS/pharmacy brand health-related products is offered at 6,100 CVS/pharmacy stores nationwide. This program is only effective as long as you remain a member of a SilverScript plan.

Sign up for the ESP program

To enjoy the benefits, you must first enroll in any of the SilverScript prescription drug plans by completing an application and returning it to SilverScript for processing within the designated timeframe. You will then be automatically enrolled in the ESP program as long as you remain a member in the SilverScript program. Because SilverScript wants to offer its members extra value—just for being a member—they have various ways to offer safety, savings, and service. The products described below are neither offered nor guaranteed under our contract with the Medicare program. In addition, they are not subject to the Medicare appeals process. Drugs purchased with the ESP card are not applied to your true-out-of-pocket expense (TrOOP) spend amounts. Any disputes regarding these products may be subject to the SilverScript grievance process.

ESP offers you savings on the following programs:

  • Dental – 10 to 50% savings on dental procedures from more than 24,000 dental providers. For a list of participating providers, please call 1-866-770-5266.
  • CVS/pharmacy – 20% off of CVS brand and private-label non-sale health-related products in more than 6,100 CVS stores nationwide.
  • Eye Care – 20 to 60% savings on eyeglasses and contact lenses through a network of more than 13,000 eye care professionals nationwide. For a list of eye care providers, please call 1-866-770-5266.
  • Hearing – 10 to 20% savings on hearing aids and batteries. For a list of providers, please call 1-866-770-5266.
  • Prescription Medications* – An average of 20% savings off the retail price of your non Medicare Part D prescription drugs at approximately 62,000 pharmacies nationwide and savings on mail order medications (for those members who do not have a secondary plan).
